KING ST COLLECTIVE

COVID-19 STUDIO REGULATIONS – HEALTH & SAFETY/INFECTION CONTROL

Following the closure of body arts facilities due to COVID-19, King St Collective strive to give accurate and appropriate guidelines for clients and artists to follow to decrease the spread of COVID-19, now that the studio can open to keep staff and clients safe. We are doing so by closely following government and council guidelines regarding health and safety and infection control within a close contact premises.

Appointments Only

King St Collective will work as a closed/ private studio until further notice for the safety of our staff and clients. All appointments will need to be made in advance, before arriving at the studio, this includes having a consultation, having a tattoo done, having a piercing or paying deposits/purchasing gift vouchers. Appointments can be made over the phone, via email or via social media (Facebook/Instagram). If you do not have an appointment, then you will not be permitted to enter the studio. You must come to your appointment alone, any friends/family you bring with you will be turned away and not permitted entry to the studio.

Please arrive to your appointment as close to your appointment time as possible. Please don’t arrive early as this makes it difficult for us to control the traffic of people in the studio and doesn’t give adequate cleaning time between clients. If you are running late to your appointment, please phone the studio on 01223 300236.

All clients who enter the studio will be required to fill in a COVID-19 Track and Trace form. This is so we can monitor who has been in the studio and contact you if another client develops symptoms of COVID-19 and we need to advise you to self-isolate for 14 days.

If you show symptoms of COVID-19 (high temperature, new/continuous cough, loss/change in smell or taste) 21 days before/after your appointment then you must contact the studio immediately. If you have contracted the virus before your appointment, then we will rearrange your booking for you. If you show symptoms of COVID-19 up to 21 days after visiting the studio, you must contact us immediately so that the studio can self-isolate and we can contact any customers who may be at risk. We will ask if you have had an NHS approved COVID-19 test and ask for evidence of the positive/negative result via email/text. All UK residents are entitled to a free test and the closest testing sights for local clients are MILTON and ELY. You can book a test through the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test .Failure to inform us will result in refusal of service for up to 12 months. Any future pre booked appointments you have will be cancelled and your deposit will be lost.

If a member of staff or anyone in their household is showing symptoms of COVID-19 they will self-isolate and get an NHS approved test ASAP. If an artist does need to self-isolate, then future appointments will be postponed until they are given the all clear. This is for the artists and client's safety to avoid the spread of the virus and is no fault of the artists. Deposits can be held to reschedule, or a gift voucher given for the value of the deposit to be used within 12 months.
